Thame Town Music Festival

I was Festival Chairman of the Thame Town Music Festival for all four festivals it held: 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022. There was no festival in 2020 or 2021 because of Covid.

It was a free, ticketless, one-day festival across the town centre of Thame in Oxfordshire, run by volunteers as a not-for-profit community interest company and funded by donations, grants and sponsorship. In 2019 it drew about 12,500 visitors. In 2022 it had 11 venues and over 70 acts, with Big Country headlining and a BBC Introducing stage for new artists.

Playing and collecting

I have been learning the cello since 2014. I also collect vintage guitars, and old radios.

Simmons
